Sort-Glide Mail Sorters use a "sorting comb," above a sliding drawer to stack sorted mail into delivery order in seconds.  This simple innovation increases sorting efficiency and ergonomics by eliminating the time consuming procedure of removing sorted mail from individual pigeonholes.  The unique Sort-Glide System also allows for more sorting detail to be achieved with fewer mail touches, (production of a better mail bundle) and can be instantaneously re-labeled for multiple purposes and address groups.

Here's how to use Sort-Glide for internal/incoming mail distribution

1. Insert Tab Dividers into Sorting Comb at the division between each labeled mail stop.  Tab dividers should be labeled (and preferably color coded) to match the mail-stop label on the Sort-Glide.
2. Sort Letters, Magazines, and Interoffice mail into any comb separation between the appropriate Tab Dividers.  Comb separations within the stop can be used to collate mail stop bundles by mail type or final recipient.
3. After mail is sorted, pull Sort-Glide drawer to remove sorted mail from Sorting Comb in one efficient motion.
4. Scoop up sorted mail and Tab Dividers.
5. Place bundle in standard mail tub with mail and Tab Dividers upright, (we put a piece of thin industrial carpet into the bottom of the tub to keep mail from sliding down).
6. Tub is placed on a cart for distribution.  High quality collated mail bundles, which require less sorting effort at each stop, are delivered.   Upon return from delivery, Tab Dividers are in order and ready to put into the sorting comb for the next sort.
